We strive to provide an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. People come in a variety of clothing styles, from casual shirts, jeans and sneakers to coats and ties, skirts or pants – whatever you prefer is fine.
We are a smaller congregation with attendance around 70 to 80 for Worship. We are an eclectic group: we live in different counties, work in diverse professions and range in age from 1 to over 90. We honor our differences because they create vitality and creativity as we seek to serve our Lord.
Worship is at 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings. If you wish to explore Sunday School, that begins at 10:00 AM.
Sunday School Kick-Off, April 8, 2018
Classes for all ages (8 weeks)
Elementary – “Dr. Tock’s Traveling Clock”
Location: Room no. 3
In this eight-week series, we’ll travel through time and look at the life of Joseph. Kids will develop good character and learn how God wants us to treat others through Micah 6:8! The “Need to Know” cards repeat for two weeks in a row throughout this series to give kids the repetition that helps their hearts grasp these truths.
Youth – “Down to Earth”
Location: Room no. 6

What does it really look like to be a disciple? What does it even mean? A disciple is someone who follows Christ and tries to live like He lived. This series is all about helping students understand what it means to be a disciple of Christ and live like Him in everyday life.

Adults – Small Group “Belong” (Contemporary class)
Location: Room no. 5
What makes a small group work? It might seem unlikely to bring together a group of people who range in interests, personalities, or life experiences. But we  conduct an experiment that’s just crazy enough to work. Learn the secret of growing together and building a life-changing, Christ-centered friendship.
Adults – Bible Study (Traditional and Ongoing class)
Location: Room no. 2

This spring, our lessons focus on ways God’s people have acknowledged the greatness of their God: guidance for following God, ways Jesus provided a channel for giving God glory and honor, and a look at times when the Hebrew people sang praises to God.

Park anywhere in the parking lot. You can enter the sanctuary through the center front doors. Greeters will welcome you, give a church bulletin with the morning’s order of worship and answer any questions you may have. Restrooms will be behind where the greeters are standing. You are welcome to sit at any pew. We use two different hymn or song books and we display most song lyrics on the main screen. We are a rather casual congregation that we hope will make you feel right at home!
We want your child to have the best possible experience. As such, we offer nursery services for infants to 3 year olds. Our greeters can direct you to the nursery if needed. Mid way through the service, children are invited to come to the Altar for Children’s Time to enjoy a special age appropriate teaching from our Pastor that is reflective of the day’s sermon. After Children’s Time, those 1st grade and younger are ushered to Kid’s Praise where they will experience age appropriate worship learning experiences. For safety reasons, children in the nursesry and Kid’s Praise will be held until their direct caregiver picks them up. These rooms are located on the north wing of the church.
Children 2nd grade and higher are expected to remain with their parents or grandparents during worship. Special Children’s Bulletins on clipboards with pencils are available for every child during the Worship service. A greeter can assist you with this.
A baby changing table is available in the nursery as well.
We normally celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month and on certain other special occasions. In the United Methodist Church communion is open to all who wish to share in God’s grace. You do not need to be a member of the Methodist denomination to partake in communion. Children are welcome to come forward and participate with parents or grandparents.
There are handicapped spaces available all along the front of the church. We also have special earphones for those who have difficulty hearing; ask a greeter for assistance. Communion can be served for you in your seat if you are unable to come to the altar. We can accommodate wheelchairs as well.
If you provide your name, address and phone number in the black pew book located on the back or each church pew OR sign the red guest register located in the Narthex (next to where the greeters stand), you will receive a follow-up mailing from the pastor with an invitation to join us again!
